DC is very simple to use directory change utility with a few handy functions. Another bonus: This program has no annoying tag lines, nag screens, or even registration fees to bother you with. It is freeware and is hereby released into the public domain. Do with it what you will.
Standard Use:
Type DC followed by the drive and/or directory you wish to change to.
Automatic Return:
Type DC with no parameters to return to your previous directory.
Predefined Directories:
A file called DC.DIR should be in the same directory as DC.EXE.
This file essentially holds aliases for directory names. The format
of the file is:
DIR Name/Alias
Actual directory
:
:
etc...
Ex:
DLDIR
c:\cserve\download
To change to c:\cserve\download without typing "DC \cserve\download",
just type "DC DLDIR" (DLDIR must be defined in you DC.DIR file).
The program will then look up the definition for DLDIR and then go
to the directory. To add or delete entries to the DC.DIR file, simply
edit with a standard text editor.
That's about all, thanks for downloading and trying out the program.
It was written in Borland Turbo Pascal v7.0. The source is only about
2 pages long. If you'd like a copy of it, email me, I'll see what I can do.
